La beca más rápida del mundo...

Del 7 al 11 de agosto habrá un congreso sobre malaria aviaria (como el de Badajoz aquel, el de mi primera charla) en Vilna, Lituania. Tanto JPT como yo pensamos asistir; pero yo además con la opción (de algo tenía que servir ser estudiante) de pedir una beca que ayude en algo en los gastos... Muy bien; pues esta mañana eché los papeles... y media hora de reloj más tarde tenía en el correo esta respuesta:

 The conference will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, during August 7-11, 2013. The Second announcement is available on site http://malariarcn.org/conference2013 .

A few minor comments concerning the registration and some other details.

Huy, ya empezamos con los "peros"...

 I will cover costs of your travel, meals and accommodation from my grant (Global Grant, Nr. VP1-3.1-ŠMM-07-K-01-047). The finding is coming from a local foundation, which requires that your flight ticket is purchased in Lithuania (if not in Lithuania, they will not reimburse the flight costs). So, please do not buy flight ticket yourself. Approximately in January 2013, I shall be in touch about most convenient dates and flights for you then will buy the flight ticket and e-mail it to you.

¡Ah, no; que es bueno! Que me pagan el billete y además me lo compran ellos en la fecha que yo quiera y no me tengo que preocupar de nada...

 I am sorry for this bureaucracy point.

No te sorrees; sabré "aguantarme", jeje...

Additionally, you do not need to book hotel. A single room is already booked for you in the ‘Hotel Amberton’.

Ah, ¡y que ya tengo habitación y todo! Y... un momento; ¿hotel "Amberton", el de cuatro estrellacas, dices?

So, please do not worry about any bookings and payments: everything will be done from Vilnius side. I hope you will enjoy visiting us.
